Even prior to pregnancy, I knew I would want a doula when the time came. Once it was time to actually came to hire someone, it was stressful knowing how important getting the right person was. But once we found Emma and had a phone call with her, I had such a peace knowing we had found the absolute best fit! Each meeting prior to labor helped so much in making us feel prepared - especially my husband. He said there was so much he didn’t know that he didn’t know - for that reason alone I would recommend hiring a doula especially if you are first time parents. Fast forward to the day of our baby being born, Emma was like having an angel on earth with me all day. No matter what I was feeling, she maintained the most calming presence all day long. I labored at home for about 5-6 hours until arriving at the hospital already 10 cm dilated and she was with me at my bedside, outside the shower, in the bathroom, down the stairs, and so on. She had the most gentle way of asking/recommending that I try a new position or try to move around, but she was also so respectful and understanding when something wasn’t working for me. She comes prepared with a bag of supplies which is so wonderful knowing you have lots of different coping tools if needed. She provided counter pressure all day and helped my husband to do the same. Another thing that helped SO much were the affirmations she said to me all day. I had absolutely no idea how much her words of encouragement would mean to me during each contraction. Having her with me all day just made me feel so supported, loved, and seen. My husband is everything to me and an amazing partner, but there was truly something about having Emma there that just made me feel “not alone”. For me, contractions and pushing were both SO much more intense than I ever could have imagined and because of her, I was able to labor at home for much longer than I would’ve without her. My husband and I both agreed that I could not have gotten through my unmedicated labor without her (although she told me I could). My goal from the beginning was for an unmedicated birth and she helped me in so many ways to make it happen even when I had my internal doubts of being able to see it through. I would recommend a doula for everyone, but especially if you want to labor at home, or want to go natural/unmedicated. Emma was a huge answer to prayer from the beginning, and looking back it is so obvious God orchestrated the day perfectly and she was meant to be a part of it. There is no doubt she has answered her calling and I’m so grateful to her for it.

I cannot say enough amazing things about emma! From the moment she joined my birth team, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. She was calm, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable the exact presence I needed throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. She checked on me consistently, answered every question without judgment, and made sure I always felt empowered in every decision. During labor, she brought such a grounding energy. She anticipated my needs before I even said them and helped create a peaceful environment that made a huge difference in my birth experience. What I appreciated most was how she advocated for me and made sure my voice was heard. She held space for me emotionally, guided me physically, and truly honored the kind of birth I wanted. Her support didn’t stop after delivery she followed up, encouraged me, and made the transition home feel so much easier. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made. I’m incredibly grateful for her compassion, professionalism, and warmth. I would recommend her to any expectant parent without hesitation.

Emma was amazing from start to finish! As a first time mom, I had no idea where to start as far as what I wanted my birth to be like or even where I wanted to give birth. She helped me make a birth plan so I knew all options available to me and gave me advice on how best to prep my body for labor and birth. The week before my due date, we had to make a last minute change of birth location due to a medical issue. Emma was extremely patient and supportive as we were weighing our options and going back and forth about what we were going to do. She helped ease my mind and called around to help take the burden off of us. My labor was pretty fast, so Emma met us at the hospital and helped get me checked in as I was 9cm on arrival and unable to speak. I didn't have to worry about anything besides bringing my baby into the world because I knew she had my back and made sure my birth plan was followed. I wouldn't have made it through my unmedicated birth without her support and counter pressure through my contractions. At our postpartum visit, Emma helped us gain clarity on breastfeeding and pumping as well as reassured us that we were doing great. We will for sure be calling Emma again for our next baby!!

I had the absolute privilege of having Emma as my doula for my labor and delivery, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She was so attentive from the moment contractions began, calmly helping me try different positions and techniques until we found what worked best for managing the pain. Her presence was grounding, supportive, and exactly what I needed. I can honestly say I would not have made it through an unmedicated birth without her steady guidance and encouragement. After delivery, when I was in extreme pain and overwhelmed, Emma prayed over me with such sincerity and compassion. That moment brought me so much comfort, and I will never forget it. Emma is compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated to her clients. She made one of the hardest experiences of my life feel manageable and empowering. If you’re considering a doula, she is exceptional. I’m so grateful she was part of my birth experience.
